Eva M. Strunk age 92 of Stroudsburg, Pa. died on Monday Nov. 28, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Victor W. Strunk Sr. who died in 1998. Born in Hornell, N.Y. she was the daughter of the late William and Marjorie C. (Green) Potter.
Eva was a resident of the Stroudsburg area for the past 55 years and prior to that she resided in the Paterson, N.J. area. She was employed as a nurses aid at Pleasant Valley Manor in Snydersville for 25 years. She was of the Christian faith.
Eva is survived by a daughter Gloria Deboer and her husband James of Stroudsburg and 2 sons: Victor W. Strunk Jr. and his life partner Lawrence Smith of Swiftwater, and Joseph I. Strunk and his wife Marie of Stroudsburg, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Eva was preceded in death by a son Robert E. Strunk who died in 1981.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday Nov.30, 2016 from 6-8:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc.23 N. 9th.St.Stroudsburg, Pa. Funeral services will be held on Thursday Dec. 1, 2016 at 11:00am from the funeral home with Margie Good officiating. Burial will be in the Prospect Cemetery E. Stroudsburg, Pa.
