Obituary for Alberta Thomas

Albertha Thomas 97 of East Stroudsburg, Pa. died on Monday Sept. 18, 2017 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Pocono. She was the widow of Joseph Thomas. Born in Hanover, Jamaica West Indies she was the daughter of Theresa Donaldson.
Albertha was a resident of the E. Stroudsburg area for the past 11 years and in Henryville for15 years and prior to that she resided in the Bronx, New York area. She worked as a nurse aid in New York for many years.
She is survived by a son Nezlie Parkes of E. Stroudsburg, Pa. and 3 daughters: Jeniffer Reid of E. Stroudsburg and Valerie Parker and Kay Sadler both of Canada and many grand and great grandchildren.
There will be a viewing on Thursday Sept. 28, 2017 from 6-8:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.St. Stroudsburg, Pa. follow by a funeral on Friday Sept. 29, 2017 at 11:00am at the Lighthouse Full Gospel Church of God 700 Hammond Lane Stroudsburg, Pa. Burial will be in the Stroudsburg Cemetery.
