Drew Stewart McDonald 42 of Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away suddenly March 26, 2018. Drew was born on January 28, 1976 in Hackensack, N.J. and lived in the nearby borough of Wood-Ridge where he was the Bicentennial Baby leading the Wood-Ridge Independence Day Parade. When he was in first grade he moved with his family to Florham Park, N.J., where he lived until 2004. He graduated from Hanover Park High School in 1994 and went on to earn his Associate’s degree from County College of Morris.
As a young boy, he always loved small engines, lawnmowers, and automobiles. As an adult he became a mechanic and served as a parts manager for many years at Salerno Pontiac GMC in Randolph, N.J., among other locations.
Drew lived in the Stroudsburg/Bartonsville area of Pennsylvania for the past 14 years. He loved swimming in pools and visiting down at the Jersey Shore.
He is survived by his two daughters, Brielle and Lauren, and their mother, Meghan Sheridan-Mangan; his son John, and John’s mother Jennifer Land; his parents, Bonnie and Robert McDonald; his sister, Nora McDonald Berardi; his brother, Craig McDonald, and several cousins, aunts, nieces, an uncle, and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held on Friday March 30, 2018 at 5:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.St.Stroudsburg, Pa. with Pastor Lynda Keefer officiating. The viewing will continue until 8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be on Saturday March 31, 2018 at 11:00am in the Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery 750 Passaic Ave. Clifton, N.J.
