Marion A. Hunt 78 of Saylorsburg, Pa. died on Thursday June 14, 2018 at the home of her son Fred in Hockessin, De. She was the loving wife of Duane F. Hunt with whom she had celebrated 60 years of marriage.
Born in Stroudsburg, Pa. she was the daughter of Stewart and Margaret (Hopkins) Marsh. Marion was a lifelong resident of the Pen Argyl, Pa. area. Marion worked in the Bangor blouse mill for many years. She was of the Methodist faith. Marion was a member of the Roseto Rod & Gun Club Ladies Auxiliary for many years
She is survived by 2 sons: Frederic D. Hunt and his wife Jennifer of Hockessin, De. , Joseph W. Hunt and his wife Sherry of Saylorsburg, Pa. two brothers: David Marsh and Edward Marsh both of Stroudsburg, Pa. and 2 grandchildren, Sophia R. Hunt and Brayden Hunt and a great grandson Wyatt Hunt and her caregiver Lise Honor. Marion was preceded in death by a sister Betty Neyhart.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 19, 2018 at 1:00pm from the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.St.Stroudsburg, Pa. with Pastor Margie Good officiating. There will be a viewing on Tuesday June 19, 2018 from 11:00am until the time of the services at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Custards Cemetery Bartonsville, Pa.
