I am so saddened to hear of the news of Walter's passing. Walter and I were in the same class at CMU. If not the same class year, same class family of "tribally" related designer friends who have managed to stay in touch with each other over the years with ever-increasing endearment to each other across our varied backgrounds with the CMU experience binding us together. Walter always had a quiet, fatherly wit about him that translated to my respect for him as a designer, design-thinking professional. While it is easy to say "thoughts and prayers are with you" -- I am getting on my knees right now to: 1) give thanks for the light of Walter's life to my life and his CMU friends; 2) that we would honor him by doing right; and 3) send out into the Universe wishes of profound peace be on your family during this time.
